Memento Art Quilt
In this class you will design and make your own personal
memento quilt or quilted
shrine. Each small wonder will be unique to the maker. A great way to commemorate a
special date like a wedding or birth, to remember a lost one such as a grandmother or
just a wonderful way to show off some treasured mementos. We will explore using
Peltex, photo transfer, metal, machine and hand stitching, and beaded fringe as well as
how to execute perfect grommet setting.
