Loading the Stamp with Paint
photo
When loading the stamp with paint or ink use either a foam roller or foam brush.  Pour some paint into a small container and have some paper toweling or a paper plate next to it.  Dip the SIDE of the brush into the paint then tap off the excess on the towel or plate.  Tap the paint onto the raised parts of the stamp.  If using a roller, dip it into the paint and roll it back and forth to saturate the entire roller with paint.  Roll it on the towel or paper plate to remove the excess then carefully roll it over the raised areas of the stamp.

Carefully lay it down on your fabric and press gently but firmly with flat hands.  Do not rock  the stamp.

Dear Heather,
What kind of paint do you use with your stamps?
